ESAR 2010
Expert Symposium on Accident Research in Continuation
As we started with the first Conference, named ESAR, in September
2004 at the Hannover Medical School we were very afraid of the large
acceptance of such conference, because many conferences still
exist with special topics of safety issues and injury prevention. But
after the response of the first ESAR conference focused on results of
in-depth-accident-studies the need for such event was stated. After
our second and third symposium 2006 and 2008, I am proud to make
announcement for the fourth conference.
ESAR is a scientific colloquium and can be seen as a platform for
exchanges of information on accident research issues.
Representatives from authorities as well as from medical and
technical institutions come together to discuss new research issues
and exchange experiences on accident prevention and
methodologies of accident reconstruction.
ESAR brings together researchers from all parts of the world.
ESAR´s goal is also to give the opportunity for scientists to present
their studies on Accident Investigation Methodologies, Accident
Analysis and Active and Passive Safety and on Injury mechanisms
and Injury Prevention.
ESAR is fulfilling a hole with its specific information on accident data
and statistical issues based on in-depth-investigation methods and
got his position as a new trend-setting international conference on In-
Depth-Accident-Analysis, taken part continuously every two years
always in the beginning of September.
It was also possible to joint this conference together with the IRCOBIConference,
held also this time in Hannover. This conference of the
International Research Council on the Biomechanics of Injury is
usually take place on different European locations annually.
This is the first call for papers for the ESAR Conference 2010.
I cordially invite you to be our guest in Hannover again!
